Kenneth currently serves as a Senior Developer at Next PLC in Leicester, UK, where he develops and maintains in-house customised software. Previously, he spent a decade at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as an Assistant Systems Analyst and Software Developer, leading development teams, managing institutional databases, and training users. His expertise spans cross-platform mobile, desktop, and web development using technologies such as C#, Java, Dart, Flutter, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, Web APIs, and SQL Server. He has extensive experience with API integration, deploying applications using automated CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging cloud services such as Firebase and Azure.

He has served as project lead and lead programmer for high-impact enterprise, national, and international systems. Driven by a passion for solving complex architectural problems, his leadership and engineering roles include:

• Project Leader & Lead Programmer: He directed the architectural strategy and code execution for the Ghana Child Labour Monitoring System, the official student-facing KNUST AIM mobile app, the KNUST Synergy HR framework with biometric capabilities, and two distinct mobile platforms for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC)—including a specialised application for conducting and scoring practical licensing exams.
• Lead Programmer / Researcher: He took full technical ownership of designing and implementing KNUST’s centralised Identity Server authentication infrastructure, developed the SCAPE (Strengthening the Capacity of African Parliamentarians, Policy Makers, and Organisations/Institutions to Use Evidence in Policies and Legislation) recruitment portal—a project backed by the United States Department of Agriculture and Foreign Agriculture Services (USDA/FAS), the University of Rhode Island (URI), and KNUST—and engineered GMIS Pro, a critical data system managing national social protection targeting and infrastructure monitoring for the World Bank-funded Ghana Social Opportunities Project (GSOP).
• Key Member of Programming Team: He collaborated closely on foundational enterprise backend systems, building the KNUST Student Information System (SIS) to manage multi-tier grading scales, developing the Panacea financial platform to handle final university accounting reports, engineering secure endpoints for an integrated multi-bank payment gateway, and developing Ghana’s Labour Market Information System.
